Hold the corsage/boutonniere against your date’s chest, just below the shoulder and near the collarbone. Corsages go on the right, and the boutonniere on the left, so when you dance, they will not touch. Catch the fabric, just slightly with the point of the pin. Keep the pin close to the base of the flowers to prevent them from falling forward.
